How I did it: We called on our  friends and family and put their time and talent to use.  Came up with an everything budget and then stripped it down to what was the most important to us and used offbeatbride.com  a lot for ideas and inspiration. 

Lessons & tips: Don't think it's going to go perfectly no matter how much of a Type A/master planner you are because the cow is going to moo during the ceremony or the rain will fall and the wind is going to blow or the ring is going to be missing or the pumpkins aren't going to get carved and  the sky lanterns are not going to show up and there is just nothing you can do.  Just like at our wedding but at the end of the day you will be surrounded by people who care for you and you will be married to the love of your live and truly that is all that matters.
