How I did it: I just applied to colleges in and around NYC. I was accepted to every college I applied to, and chose to attend Pace because of their generous financial aid package. I was really lucky with how everything turned out. I just worked hard in school to give myself an opportunity and it turned out well. I'm not sure how helpful this is, but you just have to BELIEVE that it can happen and work every day towards making it happen.

Lessons & tips: NEVER GIVE UP, stay focused, emphasize the most probable means of you getting to NYC in a way that is safe and logical.
