"Completely satisfying"
How I did it: Well, I moved into a new place that had a kitchen. This was a major step, because I just couldn't eat microwave dinners often.
Once I had the kitchen, I went and bought a bunch of supplies for my own personal 'starter kitchen'. I bought a bunch of herbs and spices, oil, lemon juice, flour, sugars, etc. This is the most pricey part, but once you have it, no need to refill for quite some time.
The first week was the hardest, as I wanted to go out and eat at restaurants instead of making my own meal. However, I started small and ate every lunch from my kitchen. While I was eating lunch I would think about dinner, and prepare for it, like pulling chicken out of the freezer.
Once I found myself prepared for dinner, it was a lot easier to motivate myself to make it. Now I eat almost every meal from kitchen!
Not only is is refreshing, but its also so much healthier than anything else I can get.
Lessons & tips: Prepare yourself so you have more motivation to actually follow through.
