How I did it: Within two weeks I decided to pick up and leave my home city of Las Vegas.

-Sent out my resume. I had about 6 interviews set up before going to Boston.
-Sold my car. (not needing it in Boston, was very helpful.)
-Sold my furniture.
-Packed my remaining stuff.
-Bought a one way ticket.

Lessons & tips: It was a hard experience leaving all my friends and family and going to a city cold turkey but I had a great amount of support behind me. I still get kind of homesick but I am so in love with the city and the schools and growth it can provide I remind myself why I am here. Life is too short.
