How to eat healthier
How I did it: I've been trying to change me diet to a healthier one for months, but i kept giving in to my craving for biscuits, chocolate and cheese!! but, i looked in the mirror and i didnt like what i saw, and the only person who is going to change that truth is yourself.
anyway, i threw out bad foods from my diet, i basically use fresh ingridients, and cook everything from scratch, now i know exactly what is in my food, without having to read the label,
cooking the food makes you feel like you've achieved something, i appreciate it a lot more
i cut out milk and other dairies , as i felt they did not agree with my bowels (bloated) and since doind so, i feel a lot lighter and less sluggish.
i've even lost 2lbs, :)
Lessons & tips:
- cook everthing from scratch.
- forget takeaways, i can cook a chinese in 10 minutes, its still fast food! no excuses
- use natural ingridients, (no food that is ready to be cooked from jar etc etc)
- if you feel certain food groups make you feel bloated, cut down.
- remember to eat foods from all food groups.
- (i'm veggie but i take supplements)
Resources: a mirror! just look at yourself, and ask yourself, is this how i imagined myself to look like?
bin!! throw out those bad foods, they are not your friends!!
patience, it might take a few attempts to eat healthy, but eating healthy is a lifestyle, it should be a permanent solution.
