How to move in with my boyfriend
How I did it: As cheesy as it sounds, me and my boyfriend knew we'd live together even before our first date but we are also sensible and didn't rush into it. We had a few problems. One was that I was in Portsmouth and he was in Manchester and two-I still lived with my parents. We agreed I needed to live on my own for a while first to 'find myself' so to speak. So on the 28th Nov 2008 I moved into my own house in Portsmouth and loved it. I was panicing about how to tell my family I would be moving to Manchester but then in May this year Brian proposed and telling everyone suddenly became a whole lot easier. The planning after that became a lot quicker and on the 2nd aug this year I moved into my fiance's flat in manchester and I'm loving it. It hasn't been without it's difficulties and I'm still looking for a job but being with Brian makes it all worth while :)
Lessons & tips: As bad as it sound, expect the worst and everything else is a bonus. Be realistic and expect arguments. It's not all going to be rainbows and butterflies!
