How I did it: Waited for a night all my family were away and just stripped off and went to bed. Was super paranoid throughout the night though but on waking it made the whole experience worthwhile. Plan to do it whenever I can in the future.

Lessons & tips: Keep a dressing gown or PJs next to the bed in case something happens and you need to get out of bed. I.E Answer the door, etc.
