It’s amazing what you learn you can live without!!
How to own less stuff
How I did it: Read my old blogs-- it details everything
I mostly selected a space at a time to focus on and I worked it until I was done. Sometimes, I set time limits (or goals) to work a given area. I like switching spots every 10 minutes and doing that for 30-60 minutes.
Now for the text that is important to me (vs. this form the website makes you enter something in): My goal was to get rid of at least a car load of stuff before I moved again. I had a TON of stuff when I left undergraduate school. I didn't want to need as much to move when I got my first apartment post grad school. Accomplished! And that makes me happy. But, I still have things I don't necessarily need and plenty of bad habits. Thus, I must continue with the task bit by bit, piece by piece, always, or else the bulk will creep back up.
Lessons & tips: Don't let things pile up and it won't be so bad.
Resources: flylady's website gave me the idea to work for a few minutes at a time in different areas
