Lessons & tips: Choose your favorite camera, then comparison shop prices on the internet. You'll find better prices than at local stores, and often get extras thrown in. I got the best price available, with a 2GB memory card thrown in. Just watch for the few internet dealers who advertise crazy low prices, to get you interested, but never actually offer the camera for that price.
