How I did it: It took me a long while because I stopped reading half-way through... I wasn't enjoying the book that much, but after a month or so of not reading, I picked it up again and read at a leisurely pace. Sitting on my porch I would take long pauses between passages to enjoy nature and just sitting outside. There are some beautiful parts of the book that I enjoyed, the theme is interesting and the characters, but the book deffinately drags for long periods. I would take time to think about the "between the lines" because that is where almost the entire book takes place.

Lessons & tips:

• Sit outside whilst reading this book, it makes the experience more enjoyable.
• If you aren't enjoying the book, then read a chapter a day and eventually you'll get through it. The last couple of chapters were my favourite. I think I will read this book again, because I have a feeling I might enjoy it a 2nd time through.
