How to take a yoga class
How I did it: Trying a yoga class is something that has been on my list for awhile - I have plenty of friends who swear by yoga for fitness and strength, and I figured it would be worth a try.
Lessons & tips: Be sure to bring a water bottle! Yoga doesn't make you drip sweat, but it's easy to become dehydrated. Don't feel frustrated if you can't do all of the poses, they are easily modified and be sure to ask your instructor for alternate poses if you end up in pain! Most of all, have a good laugh about the whole thing - at one point, we were instructed to 'open our armpits'. Needless to say, I ended up with a case of the giggles!
