How to perform daily prayers

closer to God 
"it helps me remember Allah and helps straighten my path to righteousness."
How I did it: i'm a perfectionist and if i have to pray 5x a day, i pray 5x a day. if i miss one prayer, it ruins the beauty of praying 5x that day. this somehow motivated me to stick to the five. once i succeeded praying 5x a day for a whole week, i didn't want to ruin the next week at all, and once i completed the next week, i didn't want to ruin the week after that... and so on and so forth.
Lessons & tips: this life is short and is nothing compared to forever in paradise or hell. so fulfill the purpose of this life, and you won't have to worry when you live forever in the hereafter.
