How to be nicer to people, even if I don't like them
"exhausting, but necessary"
How I did it: I have to deal with lots of people I may not necessarily like. HOWEVER, those people aren't really going to go away. In order to achieve this goal you have to realize a couple of things:
Lessons & tips:
1. You're not going to like everyone you meet, thus not everyone you meet will like you
2. Being "nice" is necessary you don't have to be buddies with people just be cordial
3. Kindness is not friendship. Draw a line where niceness ends and stick to it
4. There's a difference between being nice/kind and being a sucker. Don't be a chump, don't be a sucker. If you have nothing nice to say just smile and say nothing.
5. Not everyone is going to give you the same courtesy so again, smile say nothing and move on.
