How I did it: I was freaked out to begin with by my partner's complete ignorance of the female anatomy, and was nearly put off by his almost inept fumblings. But he's lovely! and had the requisite enthusiasm to make it worth some effort on my part. Luckily he was completely unthreatened by my highly detailed instruction, and given plenty of opportunity for practice and lots of feedback and encouragement is now an incredibly unselfish, willing and damn accomplished! lover who knows exactly how to make me lose my mind entirely. yay!

• be brave and ask for what you want
  
• give as good as you get
  
• know your own body and be prepared to share
  
• be open, generous and altogether present
