How to organize my home office by Theskysthelimit1976

"Wasn't that bad after I got started!"

How I did it: 1) Make a list of what things need to be taken care of ... i.e.- organize file folders, or go through papers in letter tray.

2) Look at one task at a time.  Very undesirable tasks I took with me into another room in front of a good TV show : )  it took the edge off of it's tediousness. 
3) Mark each item off the list as you do it... feels pretty good to watch the list dwindle. 
4) Add something decorative or aesthetically pleasing to the room as a "reward" to yourself for a job well done.  I added a cool lighting fixture I got for $10 at IKEA.

Lessons & tips: All I can say is that the end result is SOOOO worth it.  I love my office space now.
