How to feel beautiful without makeup
How I did it: First I stopped wearing it on weekends. No one in my family noticed. I realized that people at the grocery store wouldn't notice anything weird because they wouldn't know I looked any different than usual. I loved the feeling of being able to wash my face with a washcloth anytime I wanted and feel fresh!
I just stopped wearing it to work a few weeks ago. I briefly went back to wearing it to work, but then gave it up for good! I got my hair cut short, and I love having natural hair and no makeup!
Lessons & tips: Start by not wearing it for one day (maybe Sat.) around the house.
Wean yourself off one product at a time.
First week - no foundation
Second week - no foundation, no blush
third week - no foundation, no blush, no eyeshadow
fourth week - no foundation, no blush, no eyeshadow, no eyeliner
fifth week - no foundation no blush, no eyeshadow, no eyeliner, no lipstick
sixth week - no foundation, no blush, no eyeshadow, no eyeliner, no lipstick, no mascara!
(or put yours in the order of the least important to most important to you... mascara was the most important to me, so it was the last thing I gave up)
