How to greet each day with an outstanding attitude

How I did it: Look after yourself. Get the sleep, food, exercise, and time with other people you need.
Then address whatever is stressing you as best you can. I hated travelling more than 3h a day to get to work, so I wake up even earlier and drive to start work at 5:30am. Costs me considerably more in petrol, but I save over 7h a week commuting time and I don't have to travel with cranky folk on grotty trains!
I also get more time uninterrupted in the lab in the morning. Seriously good stuff.
