How to fly on a plane
How I did it: After years and years of procrastination, I just did it on the spur of the moment. Booked my tickets two weeks in advance. It was partially to get out of here, but also out of a necessity because I always knew I wanted to travel.
Lessons & tips: Bring earplugs and food to swallow. My ears were really deaf for the entire time I was up there... But then again, it could have been the noise from the city. =)
Also, don't forget to bring something to occupy your time during that plane flight, especially if it takes longer than an hour.
Bathroom breaks are better done before you board. You never know if someone might be using it when you need to go.
Please check the monitors for changes in your boarding gate. You don't want to end up like me and run Home Alone style to your flight at the last minute. Lol.
Delta has a thing where you can check in your flight early so you can avoid waiting in the check in lines when you arrive.
All liquids to be checked in on the plane must be in 3 oz containers and in plastic sandwich bags.
OH yah and if you got transfer flights, dont worry about checking your bag out of the first plane and checking it into the next. The people at the airport automatically transfer your belongings so that your stuff follows you to your final destination. (I learned this the hard way!)
