How to climb a mountain with my dad by dc_mercutio

"It took a while to work out the plans and do the training but my Dan and I finally settled on Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia and climbed it over two days in September."

How I did it: We did a couple hikes together in New Mexico to practice and make sure we were ready, but other than that not a lot of serious training. In Malaysia we had a terrific guide who did an amazing job of making sure we finished the climb.

Lessons & tips: I learned that I really do love spending time with my Dad and that even at 60, it's possible to climb mountains. Stay committed and you can achieve it.
