How I did it: Sometimes I worked hard, other times, not so much. I threw myself into lots of activities including ASB, yearbook, RA, honor societies, etc. Mostly I just made sure I was involved and did the best I could. Turns out, that's all ya need.

Lessons & tips: Find ways to make it fun. I went on two trips to Northern Ireland through my school, and even spent St. Patrick's day in Dublin one year! I made good friends who loved adventures like Fridays at Disneyland, road tripping through New England, or sleeping seven people on a living room floor for a yearly trip to San Francisco. I found that the more I punctuated my college time with these kinds of things, the better I excelled academically.
