How to read the Dark Tower Series
"Awesome and gripping"
How I did it: Ka is a wheel that is always turning.
As it turns out i came across this goal in Zeitgeist and was intruged by it. I am usually not a fan of horror novels (IMHO horror is better felt seen than read) so i hadn't read any Stephen King before this. I checked out the reviews and many mentioned that this is more of a western than King's usual works and this peaked my curiosity even more.
Once i picked up the first book of the series, it kind of reached out to me. For 2 months since, this series is all i have read.
And as the wheels of Ka turn, here i am, visiting the goal again and adding my own 2 cents this time around.
As for the series itself, it is spendid. I was a bit disappionted by the ending, and more could have been done with the Gunslinger's enemies, but i can still understand why King would want it to end the way it did. Honestly, as i neared the end, it had more than once occured to me that no conventional ending would fit here. I am gearing up for round-2 of the series, after i read some of King's novels that directly relate to the Dark Tower series.
Lessons & tips: Pick it up and let Ka take you where it may with it... (I say true and may we all say thankya!)
