How to go blonde

"It took me three times at a salon, but I finally have what I want!"
How I did it: I first went to my friend, who just got out of beauty school. She ended up using bleach on all of my hair, and it came out yellowish. It was not what I wanted, so I went to a salon. The lady there did what I wanted, but the lighter blonde was a little chunky. I wanted a more even blonde, with some lowlights woven through. I just went to a third lady, and she did what I wanted. I now have a more even all-over blonde!
Lessons & tips: Go to a salon and to a person whom you know knows their stuff. Get recommendations, or go to a master stylist or colorist. DO NOT try it yourself!! Especially if your hair is already colored!!!
Resources: Just do it! Do what you want, but know for sure that you want it because it is a big change!
