How to grow tomatoes

How I did it: In late June I just planted the seeds outside in a sunny sheltered border and pretty much left them to their own devices. Never needed to water them but it probably would have helped, now picking the ripe fruits each day.
Lessons & tips: It's easier than I expected, have a go!
