How to go natural!
How I did it: Lots and lots of patience. I wasn't comfortable with a TWA. I grew mine out for 6 months cut it a few inches. 4 more months a few more inches and then 2 months and cut the last bit of relaxed hair off.
Lessons & tips: Find out what works for you. There are no rules, everyone's hair is different, everyone's beliefs are different. I started seriously examining the things I was putting in my hair not just relaxers, shampoos, conditioners, styling products etc.; what I put on my skin and what I put in my mouth. Now 80% of the products I use in my hair are 100% organic or 100% vegan. But that's just me. That may not work for everyone.
Find out what works for you and your hair. Forget what other people have to say. Be open to advice, but at the end of the day DO YOU.
Resources: YOUTUBE. Seeing other peoples' stories and journeys is so empowering especially when you are on the verge of changing your mind. Brings you back to the good side.
As far as products are concerned. I absolutely love unrefined Shea butter.
