How to get up at 6am daily
How I did it: So, this really isn't as hard as people think, but there is a HUGE secret to getting it done right.
YOU CAN'T SLEEP IN ON THE WEEKENDS
Most people RUIN their goals by doing this. Your body is set on an internal clock, and it would prefer to keep to a schedule, and if you wake up at six on the weekdays for work or any other reason, but then sleep in until 9 on the weekends, you are screwing up that internal balance and making it a nightmare to get up at 6 again on Monday.
So, knowing that, I went in to the goal knowing it would have to be 6 am-7 days a week. It was hard the first couple of days, but by day three, my body was already adjusting to what it felt was going to be a trend, and it got easier and easier. By the time a week had past, and I had kept up with it on the weekends, it became second nature (yes, it happens THAT fast). It's only been two weeks on my goal and I now wake up naturally at 6 and am not even tired. Doesn't even really matter what time I go to sleep (it's always different), I will wake up at 6am and feel rested.
I have so many more hours in my day now!! :D
It really hit me on the Sunday after I started my goal. I woke up at six, as per personal goal, made a full breakfast for my husband and I, got a shower, makeup, hair fixed and lovely, spent some quality time with my husband and watched a movie, planned out dinners for a week and made a grocery list accordingly, and was actually at the grocery store in the middle of Sunday shopping when I looked at the time and realized it was 9:30am, and I would just be rolling out of bed searching for some food. I can't tell you how wonderful that made me feel :)
Lessons & tips: DON'T break habit on weekends- you'll screw up your clock
