How to learn to apply makeup
How I did it: I think that using the right brushes is key!! I also learned that every make-up artist has their preferred medium, some like liquid foundation, some mineral make up, some air brush.
I found that I am best at applying liquid foundation and I'm getting much better at mixing colors and knowing what looks good and why. I'm not afraid to make mistakes any more and I"m confident that I can do a decent job on myself. This is quite an accomplishment for a former tomboy
Lessons & tips: go to Mac stores, Ulta, Sephora, and ask the people there to give you a make over (sometimes you have to pay) when you have different people do your make up, ask lots of questions about why they do certain things and what types of brushes or products they use, etc
Resources: Mac, Sephora, Elaine Goodlad, Nancy Jambazian, Erica Fuerst (make up artists)
