you really do look pretty bad ass.LOL

How I did it: I went with a friend to a local pircing parlor. It took me a month to decide whether or not I wanted in on the left, right or middle. It looked good each way but i felt the middle was just sexy the others were cute. So middle it was. I also got it pieced as close to my lip as possible so if i wear a stud you can barely tell it was there, this was i wouldn't have to take it out if i wanted to job hunt. This would be my first 'visable' piercing so i was nervouse. Also it didn't exactly hurt getting it done, but the healing sucked. Imean i wanted to rip the damn thing out after a week. There are so many nerves there it was plain hell. But worth it, definitly worth it.
Lessons & tips: I wore a fake lip ring for a month to see if this was tolerable to talk with and eat with. Basically i put a ring on my lip with out the capture bead. It pinched a little but I'd rather find out i hated it then instead of $70 later! Also I'm not a good healer, in fact i suck at it. But I found the best product was H2Ocean mouth wash and spray for the outside of your lip. And finally, soak your lip in a hot or warm water in a shot glass before cleaning or the lymph on the ring that has dried will drag through your piercing and it will be the worst feeling in the world. Like getting pierced again with a splintery wooden scewer, I'm not even kidding.
Resources: Listen to your piecer, if they are good they will be a good resource. I hate internet for some things but some discussion boards have good points, be careful though others are just full of idiots.
