it sounds
really charming now. Isn’t amazing how a fresh coat of paint, in the right colors at the right time can make something seem so new and nice!
How I did it: Can't believe what a difference this has made - I have been staining the shed with a natural colour for a decade, but this year I painted it 'country cream' with soft olive green on the lentel and window sill and any other bits that looked suitable. It looks brilliant! Really modern, and really old fashioned both at the same time. And because I am working all week, and the weekends are always wet, I asked my out-of-work neighbour to do it as a nixer, and so it's a much better job than I would have done myself. I love looking at it, it's very inspiring!
