How I did it: Truthfully, both of my closest mentors came unexpectedly in my life. What I noticed though is the more I shared my hopes, dreams, faults and strengths the people with the most influential (and shockingly true) opinions took notice. It's important show people in authority what one values about themselves and what one's values about one's life. Provide something to work on and they will come. I whole-heartedly believe that.

Lessons & tips: Be unabatedly honest with yourself. Really dig deep into what you want before riddling it out with someone else. Use the values you know about to find the ones your unsure on and people will try to guide you through.
