How to exercise more
How I did it: 1. Bought a mini elliptical machine for $90 on Amazon to be my
exercise of last resort: even if I don't want to go outside or make it
to the gym. Set up my computer on a bookshelf in front of the
elliptical to use while doing the elliptical, watch hulu, etc.
2. Restarted weight-lifting following the program in the book _New rules of lifting for women_.
3.
Participated in Spark People, which gives me a way to track my exercise
and get "points" for everything I do. (I know, it's a little silly,
but somehow the points motivate me.)
4. Tried to do something almost every day.
5. Went outside in the morning for some sunlight.
6. Realized that it's a process. I have much yet to accomplish, but I got the habit back and that's important.
