How to buy a new house.
It made me 
"Paying rent kinda sucked. It's more expensive (week by week) to buy a house, but is worth it in the long run."
How I did it: Pull every dollar together to get a big deposit. Go to a mortgage broker to help find the best deal. Put up with all the drama of supplying documentation to get the loan, but in the end it all comes together.
Lessons & tips: Bite the bullet and just do it. Even if you're not buying the dream home to start with, just buy something to get started. It's much easier to "move up" if you're in the market.
