How to go back to school
How I did it: I was going to a place for psycology and seeing a psychiatrist because of my depression (the reason I stopped school) and there was a teacher who worked there. She gave me tests to see where I was at with my studies and it turned out, although I'd skipped 6 months of school I was where I should be at.
My perents then took me around to a school that I knew would be right for me. We had a couple of tours and chats with the principal to try to re-introduce me to the schooling system so now I have a 9 day fortnight and a lot of short days, although the kids there are pretty nice and I don't want to miss out on anything so I go anyway. :)
Lessons & tips:
- Search on the internet about near by schools.
- Ask people or friends that have been to different schools how good they are and if it would suit you.
- Get your perents (providing it's high school not uni) to make a phone call to the school enquiring about the enrolment.
- Get a tour :)
