How to quit Smoking
How I did it: Quitting smoking took several months of talking myself into doing it, I can't count how many times I tried to stop over the years and over the last two months to the day I stopped.
The final straw was when I ran out of cigarettes to smoke I just decided not to drive to the store and buy anymore... something in my mind just clicked and I refused to be a slave and "go get a pack". So I dealt with the withdrawal, and kept counting the hours that went buy, until they turned into days, and then weeks.
I started keeping track of how much money I was saving and this became another motivator. Every time I had the urge I would focus my energy on other things, thoughts.
My boyfriend was a huge help, he may not know it but being around him helped me tremendously to get over it.
