How I did it: by going to weight watchers meetings, and keeping a food journal. it's a little difficult at first, getting the point systme down, but that is why you go to meetings. they help you, and give you lots of ideas. there is no boredom on this plan, and you don't have to deprive yourself of anything. just make better choices.
Lessons & tips: keep that food journal. and if you screw up one week, it's ok, you always have today to make thing better. if you want it bad enough, you can do it!
