How to take better care of my body
How I did it: I've been working out 4 times a week in a gym-it's only been a couple weeks but I can already feel the difference, at least in the fact that I can handle cardio for longer. I've been making an effort to eat healthier meals and for snacks I've been snacking on cheerios or nuts or fruit. I've been taking vitamins as well. I still snack unhealthy sometimes and gorge on ice cream once a week (but only once a week! Big step up!) but I'm feeling like I'm doing good. I'm not doing this to lose weight, I'm doing this to be healthy.
Lessons & tips: I think I read somewhere it takes eating something 9 times to get used to it, and like 2 or 3 weeks to start a new habit. So stick with that healthy cereal or workout routine. If it's not habit within a few weeks, there are always other options. Maybe the treadmill isn't your thing, but taking yoga classes will be?
