How I did it: I put some stickers in a film canister along with a note. When I reached a place where I wanted to hide the little treasure I turned on the GPS and recorded my coordinates. Then my sister (apparently) recorded our location on a geocacheing website. Nothing has happened since .... is something supposed to?
Lessons & tips: don't lose the piece of paper where you record the geocache's utm while on your roadtrip. (luckily we found it again)

Well, when people find the cache they will make a post, and they will sign the log that you left in the container. You can check the website, and you should check the container to make sure no muggles (no geocachers) goof around with it.
I think the fun part isn’t the hiding, but the most interesting part is the seeking. If you get some time, you should try to find a cache. It’s quite fun and an addicting little sport.
