How I did it: Performed my job as I was taught to do at AIT and I paid attention to my senior NCOs and my officers. To keep sane I worked out a lot and spent a decent amount of time in the MWR.
Lessons & tips: Do what your NCOs and Officers tell you to do, they actually know what they're talking about. Make sure you have something to alleviate boredom during down time.
