How to paint the loft walls

"The walls were "contractor white" and I wanted a different color."
How I did it: A trip to Lowe's where I purchased 1 gallon of semi-gloss blue Latex primer paint. It took two coats because the color was darker than usual. It came out great, color was solid and cleanup was easy.
