How I did it: I simply realized that God's plan for me was much bigger than working at a job for a pittance simply to pay the rent.

One day at work, I went outside at lunchtime and looked up at the sun.  I realized how much I hated sitting inside for hours at a time.  I evaluated my responsibilities and came back and gave notice.

It was very clear to me that I was wasting my precious time while at the same time, worshiping money.
I decided to work full-time on a volunteer basis while pursuing my dream of being a professional artist.

I am reading a book currently that I think can be a big help:  Wide Awake by Erwin McManus.   I highly recommend it.
