How to live a minimalist lifestyle
How I did it: Well it is kind of my nature, I remember my teacher in 3rd grade calling me a minimalist because of my "done alright, but with as little effort as possible homework" - back than I didn't even really know the meaning of minimalist.
Several years later, I moved on my own for 7 months from Germany to Sydney, which gave me a lot of time to thing about my life, as well as some of the greatest times of my life (yet). None of which included any stuff. Well, except my Shortboard for surfing.
Now 3 years later, I am in love with my clean and "empty" room, I sold all my stuff that I wouldn't use on a at least weekly basis on ebay, and I am even sorting out more stuff since I am going to backpack australia again.
Lessons & tips: Do it slowly. One thing after another. My Goal was to own less than 50 personal Items, and now, I am down to 30. (excluding cloths, including books, dvds)
