Feeding once a week ensures the the pair are in good condition for parenthood.
Female was 3.5 years old when babies were finally observed. Success was attributed to cooling off the pair.
Lessons & tips: Cool off the snakes to start the breeding cycle.
Separate the snakes so you know when they breed and to protect the babies from being eaten by Daddy later.
Resources: Online sources are good. These livebearing snakes are darling, non-aggressive and easy to breed!
