How I did it: we both made a goal to see one another, and if we did not, we wouldn't continue. it was motivation enough. we got money from friends and family, and it was so beautiful to see my baby after this long. it was everything we thought it would be.

Lessons & tips: it's awkward in the beginning. but once you realize it's the person you've talked to forever, then it gets easier(:
