you just gave me something to keep pushing me to continue breast feeding!
How I did it: I was overweight when I got pregnant and then gained 70 lbs. I was HUGE! But, after I had the baby I just focused on taking good care of him and eating healthy. Since my baby has a dairy allergy I had to cut out dairy. I think that probably helped. And, probably the biggest thing is that I am still breastfeeding and he is 11 months old. I don't really think too much about food, don't deprive myself at all, don't go hungry, but eat mostly natural foods. I have lost over 100 lbs total since delivery and am 30 lbs less than when I got pregnant. Pre pregnancy I was a size 18. Now I just bought a lovely pair of size 8 jeans. The trick is you have to continue breastfeeding throughout the period of 6-8 months when the baby burns the most calories for you.
