How I did it: A friend and I were always obsessed with sharpies and post it notes, so we went out on one spontaneous friday and walked all over the neighborhood barefoot putting up post it notes on whatever was around. We put them on trees, telephone poles, fences, playground equipment, and even the sidewalk. We had so much fun knowing that somebody would be walking and see a note and say, 'Hey, that must be for me.' And would walk on a little or a lot happier than they were.
