How to get married
How I did it: I always had a lot of anxiety about my own wedding. I managed to get through it, and loved it, because I kept the guest list short, and the wedding simple. We got married at city hall and had dinner at a morrocan restaurant with belly dancers. I was surprised at how amazing it felt to be surrounded by the people we loved the most in the world. It was perfect and magical.
Lessons & tips: Don't feel pressured into a wedding you don't want. Do what feels right for you and your spouse. Your family will forgive you.
Resources: www.weddingplanner.com This site was invaluable as it gave all the steps, in order, to plan the wedding. It also gave email reminders. I had a simple wedding but still needed it to remind me what to do when. It is free.
