How I did it: Ummm, well first I was thinking of what I was supposed to be for Halloween, and everyone in my class said they were going to be rockers, or at least, their versions of a rocker. Anyways, I knew that they're costumes would either be store-bought and totally not rocker-ish, or homemade and still not rocker-ish. Someone even said they're rocker costume looked kind of like one of Hannah Montana's outfit. GAG. So, I said, ummmm no I don't think so, and I set out to capture the true rocker spirit in my costume. I decided to make my outfit resemble one worn by Nancy Spungen. (see picture)



Why Nancy Spungen? Hrmmm, I honestly don't know. I was talking to one of my friends about the Sex Pistols and I guess we started talking about Nancy Spungen and yup. That's when the idea sprouted in my head. Technically, she was a groupie but whatever. She had the perfect rocker look for me to imitate.

Well, I already had a leather jacket so the hardest part was done. Now I needed to do was decide what to wear on the top, bottom, under, and shoes. For the top, I bought a plain black t-shirt and stuck safety pins ALL OVER. I didn't put them on my leather jacket, because I didn't nasty safety pin holes in it when I took the pins out. Bottoms, I bought this skirt almost identical to the one she wore in the picture, only it was black. I put on some fishnets under that and a pair of dirty converse, and CABLAMO, I was done.

Ohhh,and I also curled my hair, and then teased and messed it up.
