How to get into photography

How I did it: Researched like crazy. Used KenRockwell.com blog a LOT to find out what I wanted and how to use what I got.
Then researched many Photoshop Tutorials online. Also, you just have to get in there and bite the bullet with a decent camera. It's like learning to play in instrument. If it's a crappy guitar, you won't play it.. same with a camera.
Lessons & tips: Research and constantly try new things... whether that be photoshop processing or changing your scene. force yourself to do something hard or uncomfortable every now and then.
