How to study abroad

How I did it: It was one of the hardest things I've ever done but I'm definitely glad I did study abroad. I found a program through a search engine with my college. Then I met with my study abroad advisor and began the application. There's lots of paperwork but it's worth it. I'm currently studying abroad in Avignon, France.
Lessons & tips: Prepare to be sad in the beginning. The homesickness was really hard. Also, apply for every scholarship or grant you can. There's always money out there.
