How to knit the El Capitan hat for Kelly for Christmas. by beelikethebug

"A quick, easy Christmas gift!"

How I did it: I've made several of these hats for people, and my friend Kelly loved them and wanted one. I ordered yarn for the hat from KnitPicks and found the buttons at JoAnn Fabrics. Then I just knitted it!

Lessons & tips: This is a great hat to try if you're an advanced beginner, or if you are an intermediate/advanced knitter and want to pound out a fast gift.
