How to listen to classical music
How I did it: I'd always sort of liked classic music, but had never actually become an avid listener. Truthfully, I just picked up a classical CD and gave it another whirl.
It's really all about just giving it a try; there's no trick or anything to loving classical music.
Lessons & tips: Don't knock it 'til you try it!
Listen to music from different music periods - you may find that one appeals to you more than another. Listen to a wide array of composers, too.
Resources: The Solitudes collection of CD's is a good option if you're looking to warm up to instrumentals at first, then move into classical artists.
Look for compilation CD's, of course, and CD's featuring one composer's work.
